new house is great. playoff baseball is even better.

the new place is spectacular, i have added about an hour and a half to every one of my weekdays. time is money, as they say. i guess that would be more true if i had a job. but you get the idea. as part of my move, i learned that the service industry is completely insane. everyone i dealt with on saturday as part of a monetary transaction fucked it up. i thought that in the allegedly tough job market, employers would be able to hire workers who were not half-wits. not true. u-haul, ikea, and time warner cable, all hire complete morons to do their work. i won't go into detail, it's still kind of a sore spot. but lets just say i've never had more things go wrong for me in one day in my entire life. i laughed about, laughing is all you can do when you're smarter than everyone else.

the series with the yankees thus far has been incredible. there is nothing more exciting than extra innings in october. although i am extremely disappointed in the loss last night, it's really what sport is all about. what i mean is that i love the drama of playoff baseball. i get so freakin excited over it. so excited in fact that i can't even properly articulate my feelings on the subject. so much drama, meaning, history...mmmm...history...
