so this is really the last time that i get to procrastinate in regards to homework. classes are pretty much over, i'm just working on reflection papers. or more accurately, as the title suggests, i'm not working on those things. i graduate on may 13th, 2007 with a masters in urban and regional planning. i am more than ready to have evenings and weekends back. most of all, i'm ready to have more time to spend with theresa. i've also been neglecting my friends, so a large party is in order, probably in the next couple of weeks.
in other news...
we bought a new car last week. the 2001 ford focus zx3 s2 is now a thing of the past. farewell my friend, you never really broke down, but somehow managed to be an entirely shitty car. theresa and i struggled with the decision about what to purchase, and ultimately our consumerism got the best of us when we went with a 2007 honda cr-v. somehow, through magic of some sort, it gets just as good gas mileage as our old car and has an emissions rating that is four times better. it also built on the frame of a honda civic. so that's how i justify buying an suv, i'm such a hypocrite... but we still only have one car, and i never drive it, so maybe that evens out somehow?
oh, add this to the list of things i plan on doing after graduation: playing in a band. i'm ready to start playing again, actually, i'm dying to play again. hopefully there are people out there willing to have some fun playing in a basement and recording songs...
