As the Holman's stay at our house continues, we're finding lots of things to do to keep the kids entertained. Sammy is easy to please as long as we've got a good supply of cars around. He likes to play cars with people, but often times doesn't actually want you to touch them, which makes for some pretty boring play if you ask me.
Both the kids love to water the plants outside. And sometimes the dirt. And Penny, if she's in the yard while the watering is going on. Penny loves it, too, but generally coughs up some water at least once before I call a halt to the face-spraying. Here, Sammy displays his standard silly face (two fingers in the mouth stretching it to the limit), but with some amendment so as he can also keep holding the hose.

It doesn't get any better than a calm dog who's getting a belly scratch from a toddler watching TV. Strike that. It doesn't get any better than painting "roads" (circles and scribbles) all over some paper, and then on yourself:
